Since 1 May 2014 it is possible also to employ a foreigner based on a temporary residence and work permit. The application for such a permit is submitted by a foreigner who stays in Poland legally. As a rule, the foreigner should enclose starost's information on the inability to satisfy the employer's personnel needs, obtained by the said employer before and handed over to the foreigner, to the application. More information on how to obtain a temporary residence and work permit.
