What are the public works and what is their main purpose?
Public works mean employing an unemployed for no more than 12 months to do works funded or co-funded from the budget of a local self-government, state budget, special purpose funds, NGOs, water law companies and their associations.
Who can be referred to perform public works?
If you are an unemployed registered in the Poviat Labour Office, you can be referred to commence employment within public works. The support award will be conditional on an individual action plan agreed with your advisor in the Office.
Simultaneously, if you are a maintenance debtor, you have priority of employment within the public works.
How long can the public works last?
The period of your employment within the public works can be up to 6 or 12 months.
