- As a jobseeker, you can use the labour market services with respect to:
- If you hold a jobseeker's status and:
- you are in the period of notice related to your employment relationship or service relationship for reasons on the part of your work establishment;
- you are employed by an employer who was announced bankrupt or who is being liquidated, except for liquidation for privatisation purposes;
- you receive social allowance payable during the miner's leave or the miner's social benefit, as stipulated in separate regulations;
- you participate in classes in the social integration centre or individual integration programme, as mentioned in the social welfare regulations;you are a reservist;
- you receive a training pension;you receive training allowance;you are subject to the social insurance of farmers in the full scope based on the regulations on the social insurance of farmers as a household member or spouse of a farmer if you intend to commence employment, other paid work or non-agricultural business activity;
- you are an employee, a person doing other paid work or running business activity aged 45 years old or more and you are interested in receiving assistance connected with your professional development;
- a foreign national:
- holding a temporary residence permit in Poland, granted in connection with the circumstances mentioned in Article 144, Article 159 section 1, Article 160, Article 161, Article 176, Article 186 section 1 item 1, 2, 4 and 5 or Article 187 of the Act of 12 December 2013 on Foreigners;
- holding a temporary residence permit mentioned in Article 114 section 1 or Article 126 section 1 the Act of 12 December 2013 on Foreigners or a visa issued for work performance in Poland.
You can:
- be referred to training;
- apply for the reimbursement of the costs of exams, enabling you to obtain certificates, diplomas, statements, specific vocational licences or professional titles, as well as the costs of obtaining licences required to perform a given job;
- apply for the loan for paying the costs of training to commence employment or other paid work;
- apply for the reimbursement of the costs of your post-graduate courses under the Labour Fund.
You will not be eligible to receive a scholarship in the period of your training or post-graduate courses.
- If you are a jobseeker registered in the Poviat Labour Office, your obligations include:
- contacting the Poviat Labour Office at least once every 90 days to confirm that you are interested in the assistance stipulated in the Act;
- notifying the Labour Office, within 7 days, of all the changes included in the registration sheet and statements;
- vising the Labour Office on the appointed date, agreed by the jobseeker and the Labour Office, and if you fail to visit on the due date, notifying the Office of the reason for your failure within 7 days;
- commencing a vocational training of adults if you are offered it;
- commencing and participating in the individual action plan, training, post-graduate courses if you are offered them;
- participating in a special programme if you are offered it;
- sitting an exam enabling you to obtain certificates, diplomas, statements, specific vocational licences or professional titles, as well as the costs of obtaining licences required to perform a given job if you are offered them.
